OUR MISSION
TANGO INC is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2021 to preserve and expand Argentine Tango as a living cultural tradition through year-round education, live music, performances, and community programming. We make this immigrant-rooted art form accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities while honoring its rich history, music, social customs, and cultural significance.
We believe Argentine Tango has the power to strengthen human connection, inspire creativity, encourage lifelong learning, and improve overall well-being. Through shared experiences in music, movement, and cultural participation, our programs bring people together in meaningful ways and help build lasting relationships across diverse communities.

Free Senior Classes
Our year-round home for Argentine Tango in the SF Bay Area, offering weekly classes, practicas, milongas, live music, and welcoming opportunities for dancers to learn, connect, and grow.
Our annual tango festival celebrating the rich legacy of Argentine Tango with world-class instructors, live music, and social dancing that connects enthusiasts from all over.
Bringing the joy, human connection, and health benefits of Argentine Tango to local senior centers through free, fully accessible weekly classes.

Annual Dia del Tango
Outdoor milongas and public performances under the open sky, connecting the broader public with the magic of Argentine Tango in the heart of downtown San Francisco.
An annual celebration honoring the rich history and living cultural tradition of Argentine Tango with performances and social dancing in the historic Green Room at the San Francisco War Memorial Building.
